I'm so excited for Christmas!

Every year I get so excited for Christmas.  It isn't for the gifts that I will receive, but the spirit of giving. I love to give! I love to see faces lit up and smiles on faces. When I was 12 years old we had the chance to do sub for Santa.(which I totally recommend doing)  I was so excited to make fleece blankets for all the kids. Not knowing what a simple blanket would do. After going house to house dropping off packages full of toys and meals. We then made it to the last house on our list. The gifts were for a little girl who lived with her grandma. The first thing she picked up was that little fleece blanket, rolled up and tied with a ribbon. With tears rolling down her face. She said, "my granddaughter will love this most." She was starting to go blind and could barely see anymore. She loved to sit and listen to the TV bundled up in a nice warm blanket. The blanket she had been using, was full of holes and not much was left of the blanket. I have never felt so good in my life. It was so much better then getting "stuff" for Christmas.

God has given us the greatest gift, our Savior. Let this holiday season be a reminder to love everyone, and do simple acts of kindness. Those simple acts could be just what that person needed!

Struggles as a Mom

I am always worried about how I am doing as a mom. Am I patient enough? Am I teaching them what they need to know? I am worried that I don't know enough. I struggled in school, how am I suppose to help them to succeed? Sometimes, I just need to sit back and realize the lord trusted me to do this job. He was the one who gave me these prefect kids to love, nurture, protect, and provide for.

I hope one day they can look back and be proud to have me as their mom. I hope they feel like coming to me when they need advice on parenting their own kids. I hope they think of me as their superhero.

I am starting over on my Blog!!

I am so excited to start this Blog. I want to share our life and let people watch our family grow. I am excited for some fun exciting post to come. I am going to warn everybody now, I suck with writing and grammar (due to never going to my English class in high school.) so please just bare with me.

I'll start by giving you a brief intro to our family. Brian and I have been married for 6 yrs (I know it's crazy) we have 2 kids they are crazy but a pure joy to be around. I love watching them grow. They say and do the funniest things. It is so neat to watch them figure out who they are and develop personalities.

Boston is our oldest, he was born on August 14, 2009. He loves being 4 yrs old. Everything he does has to do with the number 4. He hates to be dirty. He is so much like his dad. He can point out almost any car and tell  you what it is. He is obsessed with shooting baskets and going to the rec center with his grandpa. He is just all around a sweet kid.

Beckham is our 2nd child. He was born December 13, 2011. He is complete opposite of his older brother, from looks to personalities. He is my blue eyed baby boy. He is so crazy, and gets into everything. His favorite place to be is outside in the dirt. I don't know where we would be without him.

I hope to post more entertaining post soon!!
